Our Village, Our Community
Our Community may be small but it has a long and proud history. Look around and you’ll see lots of reminders of the past. Loans has a close relationship with Troon and Dundonald, but still holds on to a distinct identity.

In 2026 our Village Hall will be 100 years old and to celebrate this milestone we’re hoping to secure funding for improvements to the Hall that will benefit all users and, we hope, the village as a whole.

One of our village gardens will be helping to raise funds by opening up their garden for charity on Saturday 6th June 2026. You can find more information about this by selecting the image below.

The hall is managed by a charitable company, Loans Community Centre Limited (LCCL), on behalf of the community, by volunteer directors. You can find out more information, including how to book the hall here.

This is an evolving website so we’re keen for input from local users on content that might be useful for both this website and for our Life in Loans Facebook page.
